Sorry 'bout the delay folks!

Our internet has been down for a week (a curse on third-party rental companies the world over!) so I apologize for not getting pictures on here sooner. Here are some more random ones
that I just have to add.

The three week mark!

First off is the obligatory growth-in-comparison-to-a-quizzical-primate picture. Wardrobe is courtesy of Grandpa Mac and Grandma Kate (as if anyone would assume otherwise). I think Boston is by far more curious than old George here.

This is by special request, a more proper four generation picture. And for all the great-grandparents who haven't gotten to meet Boston yet, we hope to see you very soon.

"Mom you're embarrassing me in front of all my friends!" All Boston needs to feel happy when he's sad is a little love from Mommy.

With Grandma Jones in the family tree Boston was a shoo-in for cuteness.

The proof is in the puddin', so to speak. I love these rare moments when he's not sporting his dad's trademark scowl... it's so serene.

Some random pictures

Four good lookin' Irishmen.

Hangin' with dad on his lunch break.

This wasn't a passing glance, this is how he always looks at me... I like to think that it's quiet admiration.

Ok, he might not be admiring as much as... surviving.

The great thing about family coming to town is that you can get some of the pictures they took when you couldn't... the bad part is that they're rarely the kind of pictures you'd normally want.

This is our first family nap.

Oh those hands

I love these videos. The first one is a classic Rubert move, flipping off the ultrasound.

This one I can't get enough of, watching my son discover his own hand 15 minutes after birth.

Sleeping Handsome

Here's a couple of pictures of what our little guy does most of the time so far (the other two activities are too graphic, and I don't have pictures of those anyway).

Welcome to the party, Bos!

This little blog is for our newest little guy, Boston McNally Rubert. He has so many people that want to know how the tiny man is doing, I figured this would be the easiest way. I'll try to keep this updated as often as possible, and barring any unfortunate finger-in-the-blender-whilst-making-a-milkshake accidents, I should be able to follow through. Enjoy!

This was a fantastic idea, and what do you expect from a rocket scientist? This Curious George monkey is a good standard by which gauge our little miracle's growth. This one isn't quite scaled to size.

And here he is, born on June 5, 2009, at 10:35 P.M., weighing in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. at a whopping 21 inches long...

Boston McNally Rubert!

And, finally:

After so much anxious waiting, our little prince has finally found his home.
Welcome to the family, Boston. We love you, our sweet little boy.
